“What is Discipline?”

Making rules and getting it strictly followed to serve a purpose is called discipline. Discipline is the quality of being able to do our work in a controlled way. The direct rule of life is that we can’t progress without discipline.

Some thinkers have defined discipline like…

1. Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishment.
2. Struggle today, strength tomorrow.
3. Discipline does not mean control, discipline means having the determination to do exactly what is needed.

A river is always in discipline; it travels its path and finally reaches the ocean to become the ocean itself. A small plant grows according to its height and stays tall which shows its discipline.

The flowers of the plant spread their fragrance with the dash of air upon them.

Just imagine, if the discipline of the water in the sea is less, then it may lead to disaster.

If the discipline in the air is less, then it may easily become a thunder storm and spread the damage.

If fire becomes inferior to discipline, then it causes catastrophe.
Similarly, a person without discipline leads to self destruction and leads others also to the same.
The wheels of the train move in discipline, which makes us enjoy the beautiful train journey, similarly discipline in life makes its journey more enjoyable.

A good teacher must be able to maintain discipline.
The seasons change with discipline in their certain duration, the flower blooms on its own.
The sun, the moon, and every planet in the solar system are bound by certain rules of oscillation that they follow with discipline.

Nature teaches us to follow to the rule. So why don’t we follow the rules and stay disciplined? People say that the victory can be achieved by taking small perfect steps.

It is absolutely necessary to have discipline for the aim to run on the progress path of life.
