Hi! My name is Dinesh Rai and I am here to give my opinion about how to make our kids listen to news channels. Let me start with a question that have we ever wondered why there is so much craze among students for watching ipls, football leagues, cartoon networks even nobody have told them to watch it? But at the same time people who have crossed certain age let’s say more than 40 years, they are more interested in watching news. I think not only the kids but this is the general psychology that we are interested to know anything, if we are having some basic knowledge about it. There is lack of awareness about the government, basic duties of youth towards the nation, sense of realization is lacking somewhere that youth is the highest form of power of any Nation and how they can bring change in the society. So there must be healthy competitions, discussions, spontaneous debate, in the schools. So that students will search and become aware about general issues of society like politics, sports, economy, elections etc. At home also parents should make sure that apart from watching the news, they should also discuss with their children about their opinion.
I think awareness and discussion can play vital role to make kids to watch news and to make them responsible towards the nation.
