MAHATMA GANDHI
1869-1948
Being?
A man is but the product of his thoughts. What he thinks, he becomes.
Purpose?
Before you do anything, stop and recall the face of the poorest most helpless destitute person you have seen and ask yourself, Is this what I am about to do going to help him?
Sins?
Wealth without work, Pleasure without conscience, Science without humanity, Knowledge without character, Politics without principle, Commerce without morality, Worship without sacrifice.
Happiness?
Is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.
Risk?
You may never know what results come of your actions, but if you do nothing, there will be no results.
Mistakes?
Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes
Faith?
“There is nothing that wastes the body like worry, and one who has any faith in God should be ashamed to worry about anything whatsoever.”
Violence?
I am prepared to die, but there is no cause for which I am prepared to kill.
Actions?
“You may never know what results come of your actions, but if you do nothing, there will be no results.”
Struggle?
Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strength. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender that is strength.
The future depends on what you do today.
Be the change you want to see in the world
