Cultural programs and functions are given equal importance at Shivom Vidyapeeth because they play a major role in bringing the hidden talents of the students on stage in front of the parents and teachers. The children enjoy taking part in the below listed functions which happen according to its importance in the calendar.
Annual Function
Annual Function is celebrated once in a year. The function is celebrated at a very grand level in the school. Students of all the 3 campuses of Shivom Vidyapeeth Sankra, Raipura and Changora take part in the function. Acts, Dramas, Cross-cultural dance presentation, motivational theme programs, patriotic theme programs, current affairs related programs and many more are performed by the students.
Children’s Day Function
Children’s Day (14th November) is a day which is completely dedicated to the students. The students participate in huge numbers in the function and enjoy their day.
Functions related to festivals / important days of the year
Important days are also celebrated on a huge scale in the school. Students enact plays/ sing patriotic songs/ dance / give speeches related to the importance of the day. Independence Day, Republic Day, Gandhi Jayanti, Christmas Day, Janmashtami, Guru Purnima and other important days are celebrated in the school.
