Extra-Curricular Activity

Co-curricular refers to activities, programs, and learning experiences that complement, in some way, what students are learning in school—i.e., experiences that are connected to or mirror the academic curriculum. Co-curricular activities are typically, but not always, defined by their separation from academic courses.

Music

Shivom Vidyapeeth’s Sankra campus has a separate music room with instruments like guitar, congo, tabla, bongo, mridangam, dholak, keyboards, harmonium. The music room is enhanced with new instruments as per the requirements of the syllabus of music. Students are also taught Classical singing by trained music teachers.

Arts & Crafts

Arts & Crafts form an important part of the extra curricular activities in the school. Well trained professional teacher deals with the students to teach them drawing, painting, making crafts, decorating classrooms, powerful presentation, making best out of waste materials and many more artistic things.

Yoga

Yoga is a group of physical, mental, and spiritual practices or disciplines which originated in ancient India. Students get to practice Yoga with the help of trained teachers. There’s a saying in Sanskrit “योगः कर्मशु कौशलमश” . Yoga teaches us to work efficiently. A healthy body is required to accomplish any work. A healthy mind resides in a healthy body. A healthy resolution comes in a healthy mind.

Dance

Dance is a way to express oneself. Well trained and qualified teachers engage the students during their Dance classes and teach them various forms of dance. Cultural events, activities are conducted at the school which gives the chance to students to showcase their talents in front of the audience.
